ETHERNET
What is Ethernet?
According to Miguelito Balba (2024) “Ethernet is a
group of wired networking technologies that connects devices in a local area
network (LAN).”
This quote sums up Ethernet and its function
within a local network. For me, Ethernet is the technology that allows devices
to communicate with each other over cables within a single location, such as a
home, office, or school. I find it very reliable because, as a wired
connection, it typically offers greater stability and speed compared to Wi-Fi.
I've always viewed Ethernet as a solid foundation for maintaining an efficient
and uninterrupted network.
